# Branch Secretaries

The Branch Secretary is the entry level rank of the Senior Command. Each respective branch of the United States Armed Forces (excluding Military Police and Education) have a secretary that is responsible for the oversight, manpower, updating their respective Joint Chiefs of Staff of command meetings and hosting meeting with their branches. This is essentially an advisory position and they report directly to the Secretary of Defense.
