Leaving your Branch / Division Leaving a regiment is common and everyone below the rank of E4 has a right to leave their division/unit/branch whenever they please.  If a person is between the ranks of E4-E9 (NCOs), they need permission from their HICOM to leave, they may be denied leave for up to 1 week, after which the HICOM must let them leave. If a person is a commissioned officers (O-1 - O-10), they need permission from the Commanding Officer of their division/unit. The Commanding Officer may deny permission to discharge for up to 2 weeks, given a logical reason, after which they must let them leave. If a person has held a rank in their regiment or USAF for 2+ weeks. They may not be demoted for leaving the regiment. In a situation where it is evident that there has been an action for recruiting for another regiment using a sort of bribery or motive for speed-ranking or free-ranking, if the person chose to switch their regiment, the person of whom is trying to recruit the other person will be reported for corruption. This also applies if someone convinces another to abandon their regiment. Newly commissioned officers must serve one month in their commissioned division or element before transferring, otherwise they may face decommission upon leaving. In the event someone asks to leave then changes their mind, their old request to leave will be invalidated and they will have to request to leave again.  When requesting to leave your branch, division. or unit, you must do so through Discord chat to prevent any miscommunication. Failure to do so will result in your request not counting and your timer will reset. When requesting to leave your branch as a E4 - O10, you must get approval from the Joint Chief of Staff of your respective branch. The Joint Chief of Staff can deny permission up to 2 weeks, after which must let them leave. Leaving your regiment without following the rules that have been set by your Branch Secretary or Senior Command will result in a demotion to Armed Forces Report and a Treason report.
