# Retirement LRs: LRs cannot retire. NCOs: When NCOs retire they get automatically set to the rank of E3. They may choose to retire to a lower rank if they choose to. Officers: When Officers retire they get automatically set to the rank of E6. They may choose to retire to a lower rank if they choose to. When Officers retire they get the ability to get recommissioned at a later date. However, that has to be approved by the CO of the division/element and with the written consent of the respective branches Joint Chief. Senior Command: When Senior Command retire they get automatically set to the rank of Warrant Officer. They may choose to retire to a lower rank if they choose to. When Senior Command retire they get the ability to get recommissioned at a later date. However, that has to be approved by the CO of the regiment they are being recommissioned into and current Senior Command. Note: You may not stop someone from retiring. When you retire, you will be ranklocked at the rank you decided to retire to for 2 weeks. (If you leave the group as an NCO or officer and rejoin in quick succession, you will be ranklocked at E3 for 2 weeks). If this rule is broken, the promoter will be reported for corruption.
